BIOGRAPHY
After graduating from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and the Conservatoire Hector Berlioz in Paris, Louise Pingeot completed the Opera Studio of the Opera National du Rhin in 2017.
She has won numerous national and international competitions, including the 1st Prize at the ‘Amis de l’Opéra de Bordeaux’ competition. She won the 1st Prize as well at the Forum Lyrique International d'Arles in 2017.
She debuted as a soloist at the age of 18 years, as Ines in ‘Les Bavards’ (Offenbach). Since then she has performed the roles of Die Erste Dame and Die Königin der Nacht (Die Zauberflöte) at the ‘Les Nuits Lyriques’ Festival in Marmande, as well as the Peniche Opera in Paris. She also interpreted le Feu and le Rossignol (L’Enfant et les Sortilèges) in Brussels and La Fée (Cendrillon-Viardot) in India with The Neemrana Music Foundation and the French Ambassy, as well as Anna Gomez (Menotti’s The Consul) at the Théâtre de l’Athénée Louis-Jouvet and Ophélie (Hamlet) at the Festival Musica Nigella. She has regularly performed as a soloist at the ‘Festival Lyrique International de Belle-Ile-en-mer’ in France, where she interpreted the roles of Clorinda (La Cenerentola), Frasquita (Carmen), Serpina (La Serva Padrona), Galatea (Acis and Galatea), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) and Despina (Così fan tutte).
She performed several roles in Offenbach's operettas at the Odéon de Marseille (Opéra National de Marseille) Ernestine (Choufleuri), Grittly (Le 66), Dorothée (La Bonne d'Enfant), Denise (Le Mariage aux Lanternes).
As a member of the Opera Studio of the Opera National du Rhin, she interpreted La Jeune Fille (Mririda by Essyad), Blanche Neige (Blanche-Neige by Lange), Silvia (Haydn’s Isola Disabitata), Sofia (Rossini’s Il Signor Bruschino) and Die Königin der Nacht (Adaptation for children, of Mozart's Die Zauberflöte).
After the Opéra Studio, she was a cover for the coloratura role of Maïma in the new production Barkouf (Offenbach) at the ONR.
She was also soloist in various oratorios, including Haydn's Die Schöpfung, Bach’s Johannespassion and Händel's The Messiah at the Opera de Massy. She also performs with the string quartet ‘Hermaque’, and with the guitarist Anne Michard, as well as the Chamber Orchestra of the Hautes-Alpes and The Orchestre National de Montpellier at the Corum/Opéra Berlioz. She has also given recitals in theaters such as the ‘Salle Cortot’ and the Opéra National de Bordeaux with Martine Marcuz.
She has worked with distinguished conductors, directors and coaches such as Leo Warynski, Jose Miguel Perez-Sierra, Inaki Encina Oyon, Jean-Christophe Keck, Philip Walsh, Vincent Monteil, Robert Massard, Umberto Finazzi, Jeff Cohen, Christiane Eda-Pierre and Janine Reiss.
This season she will perform at the Odéon de Marseille the role of Lischen in Offenbach's Lischen et Fritzschen directed by Jean Christophe Keck. She will also sing Dorothée in La Bonne d'Enfant and Etamine in Monsieur de Chimpanzé at the Briançon Festival (Offenbachiades). She will be Titania in an adaptation of Shakespeare's A midsummer Night's Dream and Purcell's The Fairy Queen directed by Antoine Herbez. She will performed the role of Thisbé in Isouard's Cendrillon at the Theatre de Caen, Opéra de Massy and the Théâtre de l'Athénée in Paris (coproduction by Il Palazzetto Bru Zane and Opéra de Saint Etienne). She is also a member of The Cast, a troupe from Berlin and will perform with them in Germany.
In may 2019, she interpreted the music of Chausson with Eleonore Pancrazi and the Ensemble Musica Nigella directed by Takenori Nemoto, as a live recording, which shall be released in 2020.
